Me and my world

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 2 February, 1959. After finishing my secondary studies I entered University to become into a Public Trnslator. I spent my early young years taking up courses on different subjects. Far from being a culture-vulture, I have always been eager to improve what I already knew as well as to learn new things and so I did. Apart from courses and seminars on English I have also attended classes on artistic cake decoration (Wilton's method); artistic chocolate Easter eggs, party decoration, party entertainment, souvenirs in different materials, Spanish greeting cards, china, among others.

I have always enjoyed music of all kind, depending on what I'm doing or on my mood. Music is essential to me, like ´the joy of life´. It doesn't matter how I feel, it has a very important effect on me. I love nature: spending free time in the open-air, sitting under a tree reading a good book, listening to music or just watching the wonders of nature. I also enjoy walking ...I could walk for hours if in good company; doing sports like volleyball, tennis or swimming.... Of course, most of these activities are only possible when on holidays as my job is quite demanding.

I've always worked as a teacher of English: first to support my career at university, then I got to like it so much that I couldn't give up. I worked at private schools and institutes at different levels, even for an American company here, in the Accounting Department and, of course, as a translator, but teaching English has always been there. At present I have my own place with a number of nice students. We all have fun together while working with the language.

I got married in 1990 and had two kids: my sweet dolly of 10 now and my little indian of 7. At this moment they are all my life. We share everything, good and bad and are a very good company to me. I know hard times are to come as they grow ...but let me avoid thinking of what is to be by now!
Two years ago I started to use my computer: Cleopatra. Short after that I entered internet which opened a new world to me. By then, due to mistakes love makes us make, I had lost almost all my friends. Here I've made very good ones with whom I''ve shared laughter and tears, finding there is no solitude possible as they have always been there when needed, even if I wasn't in the mood to be on line. I want them to know I love them and always keep them in my heart: Natalya...Rómulo (lamancha)...Gianna (Estelle)... Cristina...Helena (Morgana)...Héctor... Armando (pardal)... Sonja... Aldo (Jad)...Daniel (Dan)...Omar (renderman)...Martín Ricardo (Ric-Calderon)...Rubén Omar (renderman) ... Tía
A couple of these friends encouraged me to begin writing poetry seriously... O.K. It was not such a good idea, wasn't it? LOL ! It was because they loved me, I think... LOL ! They must be regretting that by now!!! Sorry, my dear friends...too late! LOL! The fact is I love writing and life has made me turn to poetry to evade loneliness and pain. Well or not so much I have done and shared it with my dear cyber friends.
I hope many of you may find in me a good friend and share our worlds, it doesn't matter how far we may be from each other, love and friendship have no physical barriers and I also hope you find this place, I came to call "My Home in Internet"...your own, feel comfortable, and free to tell me what you like best or don't. Non-aggressive criticism is as good as flattering.
Well...if you have reached this point reading all this long boring stuff, you have already gained many smiles and my heart... For those who don't know me, smiles mean a lot in my life.
